AL (Aluminium Large) Range | Restrained Plugs and Receptacles
The AL Range of Non-Ex plugs and receptacles provides an alternative low voltage option, suitable for use in Non-Ex mining, tunnelling and pumping projects.
Operating voltages in the AL range include 660V, 1,100V and 3,300V, with ratings of 300A and 425A available. Weighing significantly less than their stainless steel alternatives, plugs in this range are 1.04kg lighter, while the receptacles are 4.36kg lighter. Ideal for the pumping market, AL plugs can be fitted to pump cables of all types up to 185sq mm. Receptacles in the AL Range are available with three different release options: the Jack-In Release, Quick Release, and Ratchet Release. They can also be purchased as a Quick Release RGB (Receptacle Gland Bracket) assembly.
