Ex118BSSRF | Stainless Steel High Voltage Flameproof Coupler with Removable Flange

Unique to the Ex118BSSRF, this high voltage stainless steel coupler features a removable flange, taking the guesswork out of flameproof path maintenance.

Released in 2015, the Ex118BSSRF is rated for 800A with an operating voltage of 11,000 volts. Ex-certified and with a rating of IP66, the Ex118BSSRF is suitable for use underground operational sites, and pumps and tunnelling projects, though this coupler can also be used in metalliferous sites if a higher level of durability is required.

Should damage to the flamepath occur, replacement of the removable flange can be done on-site, even underground, by simply removing its four countersunk screws, assisting in the reduction of operational downtime and associated maintenance costs. No specialised training or cable termination is required. The Removable Flange can be ordered separately at a fraction of the cost of replacing an entire coupler and kept on hand, further assisting in the reduction of downtime and maintenance costs.
