We’re starting the year off with something new, something different, a chance to discuss the industry with those in the know, both domestic and international, to learn what the industry needs and wants from those who know it best, as well as gain insight into up and coming technology.

Held from May 21-23 at the Crown Perth, you’ll locate AusProof and its friendly team at Booth #9. Stop by and grab a couple of goodies (or maybe some sugary pick-me-up’s) while you have a chat with our team from all over the country. You’ll see some of the usual suspects there, but there may or may not be a new face or two to get to know as well…?

Whether you’re the hands-on type, or one who lives by “seeing is believing”, we’ll have some of our restrained range aluminium plugs on display for you to interact with. Something a little bit different for any members of the Australian industry attending, we’ll also have on display our largest aluminium high voltage coupler, the only one of its kind in the world, the 35BU. Rated to a whopping 35kV, this coupler was developed in just 15 weeks, and just last year celebrated its 10th birthday. Popularly used in South Africa, as well as both North and South America, common applications include supplying of power from overhead lines to mobile transformers, as well as supplying power to dredges.

The opportunity to interact face to face with members of the industry not just domestically but from around the world at this international mining event is an exciting one.
