AusProof’s Year in 2020
Posted on January 11th, 2021
2020, for many, has been a year of uncertainty, unknown and taking each day as it comes kind of year. For AusProof, we’ve continued to strive for innovation, reliability and pedigree for the market and our customers.
CAT Skid
In August, we launched our newest CAT Skid to the market. The newly designed CAT Skid has been created by taking the best features of all previous skids and combining them into one exciting and beneficial design.
Live Line Indicator
Boasting 50,000 hours of life (or the equivalent of 5.5 years), AusProof launched the first Live Line Indicator to the market using a LED light instead of the standard bulb. The LED light offers an enhanced level of safety, reliability and pedigree.
11kV Fit and Go Adaptor
Exciting projects continued in the Research and Development department with the Fit & Go 11kV 800A adaptor exclusive to KableX, designed and manufactured by the AusProof team. The adaptor is suitable for tunnelling and hard rock mines.
Two New Sales Reps
We welcomed two new exciting and fresh faces to our Sales Team in both Queensland and New South Wales. We look forward to you meeting them at some point in 2021. Our ever-reliable Western Australian Rep – Gary Hansen is still holding up the team over in the west.
Nomination for Engineering and Manufacturing / Innovation Awards
Each year, Gladstone’s Chamber of Commerce celebrates the Best in Business Awards in the Gladstone Region. In 2020, AusProof was nominated in two categories – Innovation and Engineering & Manufacturing.
Tours and Visitors to AusProof continued
We had multiple visitors from various government representatives, including Queensland Senator Matthew Canavan, MP for Flynn Ken O’Dowd and LNP Candidate for Gladstone Rod Harding.
Additionally, we also welcomed Joanna Freeman (Director of Trade for Australia and New Zealand), Mark Donovan (Senior Business Relationship Manager), Elisa Henderson (Senior Manager Business Relations Financial and Professional Services) from the UK International Trade and Investment along with Geoff Kerr from Trade and Investment QLD
Adopted Koalas
With Australia devastated by fires in the early months of 2020, AusProof explored options in how we could assist with the recovery. We decided to adopt a cute and cuddly koala duo – Prada and Tallow – which would help with the recovery of wildlife in the future.
Sponsored Special Children’s Christmas Party
In 2019, we were a sponsor of the Special Children’s Christmas Party for the first time. In 2020, we continued this sponsorship for another year.
With 2020 now behind us, we’re excited to continue improving and innovating again in 2021.
